LEGION POST 19 Item #1 National American Legion has increased the cost of our dues. As a result, the Officers and the E-board of Post 19 elected to increase dues to $30.00 a year starting January 1, 2008. When you pay your dues PLEASE give your current phone number and e-mail address. Item #2 DECEMBER 3, 2007 THE GENERAL MONTHLY MEETING AND ELECTIONS FOR NEW OFFICERS AND E-BOARD MEMBERS WILL BE AT 7:00 PM (1900 HOURS) PLEASE NOTE YOUR CALENDAR. Item #3 To All members Post 19, we need your help to keep our post running; PLEASE Volunteer. The more volunteers we have for a project the faster it‘s completed. Item #4 Ron Payne Chairman of the Post #19 wall plaque committee would like to thank the volunteers who assisted in completing this project. Jim McElroy, Herb Conner, Wayne Hermanson, and Robert Plott (Stretch) Item #5 The group that is responsible for cooking Friday night hamburger MUST have a member of their group to man the door between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM (1800 to 1900 hours) regarding items #7 and #8. Item #6 Upon entering Post 19; All members MUST have their current paid membership card, sign in, and if you have a guest/s they MUST also be signed in. When you leave the Post, your guest/s MUST leave with you. Item #7 The ONLY individuals allowed in Post 19, are active members (Current paid membership) of the Post. In addition, any current PAID CARD CARRYING members of American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, DAV, MOPH, PVA, AND POST 19 MEMBERS i.e. AUX, SAL, ALR. Item #8 The Commander, Officers, and the E-board would like to thank all employees and volunteers for a job well done. Keep up the good work. Item #9 MEN VERSES WOMEN – It’s all in the punctuation: An English professor wrote the words, “Woman without her man is nothing” on the black board and directed his students to punctuate it correctly. The men wrote: “Woman, without her man, is nothing.” The women wrote: “Woman: Without her, man is nothing.” Item #10 Reminder – Any member or employee who has a complaint regarding the Post; the complaint/problem MUST BE put in writing and presented to the Officers and E-Board for a decision to resolve. Post 19 New Years Party 8:30 PM (2030 hours) Item #12 Sick Call – If anyone knows of Post 19, Aux, ALR, and SAL member or family member that is sick, please let us know.
